This is getting ridiculous.

We have been getting griefed horribly at an increasing rate recently and little to nothing is being done about it. I understand that there isn't much we can do, however, there is one option ( though I know it may be taboo ) that will halt, or at least slow the griefing. Password protect the server. I know I have little to no say, most likely the latter, in how this server is ran. However, I have put time into it, and like the people on this server. I understand we have become quite popular and are constantly growing, but this situation is getting ridiculous.

I know it is nobody's fault and that griefers are simply insignificant beings and lower lifeforms who must do this so that they feel important, in whatever slim way they can. I also understand that all of it can be repaired and fixed. I'm just tired of seeing hard work destroyed, hindered, or ruined by this aspect. This is more of a rant, anyways, and understand my words have no merit.

I'm just simply saying that something has to be done, though I understand little CAN be done...I don't know, I just wish there was a way to protect the server.

Most of the griefing is with liquid, any other griefing is just idiots with pickaxes who like to make themselves feel good. Don't think I'm not aware of the happenings, I personally have to deal with most or all griefing. I'm aware with most popularity comes more griefers, and a lot of the situation is being responded to with laziness or unwillingness to do more than fix it and continue normally. No, I will not password protect the server. When I get around to taking it seriously, I may actually create a prevention for griefing more so than already exists. As of now it isn't top priority, some time in the near future this will be properly addressed, for now it will continue as is.

Understandable. I'm not trying to undermine you, it's just been getting on my nerves. I've repaired some grifing damage myself manually and have assisted people whose homes have been griefed to rebuild. I'm just devoted to the server and have grown attached and I guess seeing people destroy it, even if the damage is temporary, aggravates me.
